In the 3rd week of the Advent season, Matt considers how in Jesus, God intends to bring us a peace that surpasses all understanding.
Perhaps this peace doesn't only arrive once all of our financial problems are in order, or our marriage is a picture of perfection, or all the problems of the world have gone away. Perhaps, like a good Father, Jesus wants to bring us peace simply by having us draw him near when he feel worry. To bring him into our fears, anxieties and problems.
Perhaps, like a child who calls a parents when they wake in the middle of the night, Jesus wants us to know that everything is going to be OK simply because he is present.
