We would love to have you join us!
Not sure what to expect?
What time should I arrive?
The service starts at 10:00 am but its best to be there 10-15 minutes before the service starts to get comfortable, grab a coffee or tea and find a seat.
Where can I park?
There are parking spots along Penrith Ave, and 1st street.
What should I wear?
We don’t have a dress code or expect you to wear your ‘Sunday best’. Be comfortable, and come as you are.
What will it look like?
Our service usually runs about 90 minutes in length and is open to anyone who would like to join us. We start with an opportunity to connect and hang out together, and then move into a time of music together. This is typically followed up by a biblical teaching and participation in the Lord's Table.
We celebrate the Lord's Table (Eucharist) each Sunday. This celebration of who Jesus is and what He's done for us has been the high point of Christian worship since Jesus instituted it prior to His death. We celebrate the Lord's Table using a traditional liturgy and welcome all baptized followers of Jesus to share together the bread and wine that speak to us of Christ's passion and sacrifice for us.
How long is the service?
The service usually runs 90 minutes.
What about my kids?
We have a time of worship and teaching for kids 3-5 with lessons designed to engage them. There is also a nursery to the right of the stage.
Will I be expected to give money or do anything?
We will not ask you to perform any special tricks or to give. If you would like to give there is an offering box at the back of the sanctuary. All the tithes and offerings given go towards the ongoing mission/vision of VIA Comox Valley. Visitors are not expected to give as we see the discipline of tithing as the responsibility of a local congregation.
If you have any other questions please reach out to us! You can contact us by email at [email protected]
